this sounds like a condition called panophthalmitis. It is characterized by a cloudy appearance to the eye with a slight swelling, thick yellow to white material under the eyecap, and usually small amounts of blood streaked through this material. It will need systemic antibiotic treatment to resolve, usually a potent aminoglycoside like amikacin. These are just my thoughts on it based on the description and photo. I would definitely get this snake to a vet asap. Please keep us informed as to the outcome, good luck.

I totally agree with Kelly on this one. Eye infections are tough also with systemic antibiotics and some topical ointments may also be needed. No home remedy for this case, sorry.

Some vets will even cut a window in the eyecap to allow it to drain and to apply topical eye meds.
