In my opinion no, it lacks the classic flamed flanks, checkered edging and clear belly.

woooohooooooo you got the first "Is this normal a yb" post of the year. Post pics of the founding animal and we can tell you if that is even a yb, my guess is no. People selling unproven yb's were normally selling normals at that time frame. Everyone knew what a yb was supposed to look like and they were sold as guarenteed new line yb's most of the time.

So, if I read correctly, you bought it as a WC unproven YB? If you decided to buy it, either you saw some traits that you thought were YB traits, or you just took someone's word? It looks about as normal as a normal can get, too me.

Have you researched what a YB is supposed to look like?

Dave

i bought the male as a wc import yellow belly fresh from africa making it a un proven yb it came from one of the major reptile people (i dont wanna use his name)to my old boss (they are good friends and my old job was selling to pet stores...) anyway at the time i had no idea what a yellow belly was but this main breeder said it looked like one and my old boss also thought so. anyway the one pictured is one of his babys i will post others to night that look more like one to me
(the pictures dont really do them justice) but the one pictured is not the one i bought i will also get pictures of teh one that i bought
