what is a good substrate for an INDOOR enclosure?

rudedogsurfrat Sep 09, 2003 02:40 PM

I tend to bring in my adult tortoises when the weather is bad or if I am on vacation. Just wondering what is a good thing to use and easy to clean. I was using bark but those guys stink it up in a weekend.

There is a product that looks like rabbit pellets but it is actually compressed saw dust. The cool thing about it is not dusty like rabbit pellets. I cannot remember the name right now, but they sell it in all different size bags, I bought the 30# one. I like the stuff.
