Dave & Tracy's "Python's of the World: Vol 2" is considered the Ball Python Bible. My question is do Redtails or Boas alike have a Bible like this? What book (or books) would you recommend to the Boa Enthusiast?

I would have to say "The Complete Boa Constrictor" by Vincent Russo hands down. Another good book is by H E Stockl "True Boa Constrictor" its now avilable in english. It lacks husbandry information, but its pretty good for locality info. I pretty much threw my other boa books into the basement after getting these two. A book to avoid is "Boas Of The World" by Jerry Walls its an impressive book, very thick and good for pictures, but the info and identification is lacking.

I was mistaken the name of the not so good book is "The Living Boas" By Jerry Walls.

Also "the boa constrictor manual" is good with breeding info by Jeff Ronne and clay english at redtailboas.com has a good web site with an extensive care manual.
