I use Cypress. I like it.

were do you get your cypress mulch
Home Depot usually. Occasionally from Lowes. The Home Depot here keeps their mulch outside so for fear of little critters in it, I open the bags and dry them out in the sun and I treat my tubs/cages with Provent-a-mite before putting new mulch in. The biggest problem that I have had is mold. Some bags seem more prone to mold than others.
