collared lizard with white tail

1shedevil Jan 04, 2009 11:17 PM

hi guys,
my Collared Lizard shed his tail and his new tail color is white is this normal? I could understand if his body shed and not his tail, but his tail completely shed and this is its new color?
will his tail go back to normal matching his body or will his body shed and go white to match his tail? Please help I'm confused. It looks like his tail was dipped in bleach ( no it wasn't) Just as a note he only went on white sand today before that he was on green indoor outdoor carpet.

He's a handsome guy, in many, their tails are a lighter color than the body as they mature, it looks very cool. I think as the rest of his body sheds it will look like it blends better, but his tail will stay lighter but he is as I said, a very handsome male
