What does it mean???

Well, we are just getting back into dragons after having only normals in the past. What I am wondering is what do all the color morph terms mean? If you have a picture example please post with an explanation of what makes you know what they are. Also always hearing het or double het what is this? Hypo, tiger, trans, coral, etc... I really want to learn all I can so any info would be GREAT. Just bought a female and would love insight to what color she is considered.(I do not know her history) Also looking for a bright citrus dragon (yellow or ?) within 60 days so if you have one, let me know. Thanks in advance.

Read my post to the question right below your thread for some of the basic genetic terms. As for names of the morphs, they are just that, the names given to certain color/pattern traits. Some are just names for pretty animals, others are created by breeders who selectively bred animals to obtain a specific result.

Best way to learn what all the morphs are and look like, is google bearded dragon morphs and basic genetics.

The site below is good for basic genetics. Though they talk mostly of snakes, the term definitions are the same for all animals. How traits are passed on is the same too.
