Eastern Bearded Dragon

mblack Jan 07, 2009 03:12 AM

7-8 year old Australian Eastern Bearded Dragon Female falls over in its back & cannot right itself.

It has been periodically refusing food.

It has some unusual blotchy patches on its skin.

We have been trying to increase its calcium intake, but this has not helped.

It recently laid 17 eggs and this was the first time this has occurred.

The symptoms were present before laying eggs, and hasn't been the same since.

She has also been less active, despite the warm weather.

Can you help?

sorry to say, if your husbandry is PERFECT then a vet visit is in order, even if your able to improve husbandry, the vet will probably be needed to get her through

Wish I could help, but as with Po's suggestion, this sounds like it is beyond internet advice and a vet visit is in short order.
