Black pines.

Hello,

I have a question about black pines.
Can you keep them in a rack or do they need much more space ?

They can live in a rack for the first couple years. After that I recommend at least a 4'x 2' enclosure.

Ok, that's large enough for one adult ?

They usually get to 5 feet and can sometimes get a couple of feet longer than that. A 4 x 2 cage would hold an adult fine. I keep mine in 3 x 3 cages.

How high do you have you're cages ?

They don't need much height. I use 4'x 2'x 1' (LxWxH).

I would say they get bigger than 5 feet on average. Most adult captives I see are in the 6-7' range.
