I use one and I never have any issues with it. Its actually easier to program then some of the others out there as well..

Use them - love them -- got no complaints -- an excellent thermostat!

That answers my question then! They looked well built and for the price sounded good.

We've got a dozen or more in service around here, some for over 4 years with no problems. If you're going to use an on/off t-stat, I definitely recommend Johnsons over the "other" brand. We've had several of them fail.

I am interested in looking into them, given the responses here. What model is it and where are you getting it from? I Googled it and only found room therm, like for your house.
Thanks.

Would this be a good choice for my home made incubator built from a big freezer utilizing heat tape for heat source or does any one have a tried and true thermostat for this type of incubator set up price is not as important as my eggs making it!

I prefer a proportional stat over the on/off for incubators...I use Spyder Robotics and have had no problems.
