This was my first live elapid experience. Circa 72 / 73. The picture that I took might be old and yellow but the memory is clear . The animal was referred to as Ceylonese Cobra the name Sri Lanka was just coming into play. The black with the white banding and bold white face on the back of the hood was really nice.
Wow . The things I did then I wouldn't advise anyone do today in anyway shape or form. Things were way different. My raccoon project was another classic.
