Great news! I don't want to burst your bubble, though, but to be absolutely sure she is actually a "she" you will also need someone to probe her. Popping is fairly accurate for newly hatched balls, but is gets less accurate as they get older since the males develop more control over the muscles that correspond to their hemipenes.

Popping is only accurate to determine which snakes are definitely male. If a snake pops hemipenes it is a male - no questions asked. However, if it pops as a "female" it then needs to be probed in order for you to be confident.

Ask around on any of the snake related forums and I can guarantee that nearly everyone has at least one snake in their collections that was either sold to them as the wrong sex or that they raised themselves only to find out 3 years later that "he" was a "she" (or visa versa). Unfortunately, sexing snakes is never 100% accurate - don't believe the hype -even experienced breeders make mistakes.

Oh well that stinks xD

She's only a few months old(like 4-5) if that helps her "case" I was planning to take her to the vet to get her probed and checked out anyway so maybe we will find out even more then :D

Perhaps I came off as being a little too pessimistic about popping. Popping can still be considered a pretty accurate method of determining the sex of your snake, but anytime that one pops as female it is always a good idea to confirm your findings by probing also.

I hope it is a female. One of my first balls was a female that looked very similar to yours - she threw some awesome Pastels and Normals the first time I bred her. In fact, all of the babies I got from her are very high contrast and of the few that I held back I've noticed that none of them have dulled out in the slightest. They have actually gained color as they've grown, becoming more bold as they've aged. The yellows and blacks on the Pastels have becoming deeper without browning out. One of these days I'll breed some of them back to each other to see if there is anything going on - but for the last couple years they've all been reserved for other projects.
