Just bought a new camera and just made a new rack. So I guess I'll share.

Those don't look like the 28 gallon tubs. Rather they look like the 11 or 14 quart tubs. Am I right?

Good job. Too small for ball pythons, though.

They're just 32 qt rubbermaids. I keep some geckos and small colubrids in there. I do keep any larger animals.

Oh. 32 qt. That is great! Sorry that I thought they were the 14 qt ones. It was hard to tell what their sizes were from the picture.

I take back what I said about their being too small for ball pythons. Now that I know that they are 32 qt tubs, I have to say that they are perfect sized for all but the biggest of female ball pythons.

Great work!

Here is the 27 qt tub rack that I made for my ball pythons. the bottom two shelves (not shown) are for large females. They are about 44 qts (36"x16"x6".

Hi,

Your pic is wonderful in explaining how to build a rack, i just have a few questions

The shelf above the tubs acts as a top right? Do you leave any space for air exchange or just punch small holes into the tubs?
Was that a heating mat? I have no clue about using heat tapes, where do you put it? How do you attach it? I'm going to eventually build a rack for baby leopard geckos and heating is the biggest road block for me.

Thanks
Red
