Gentilis Pics.

snake_bit Jan 13, 2009 09:33 AM

This one is from a gravid WC from Russell 05'

I like the thick black saddle borders almost three scales wide and the pure white dorsum.

Here is a pic of the WC mom

Not long after mom escaped I walled off a section of my basement and made a escape proof snake room.Problem is my dog likes sleeping in the snake room cause its warm and he never shuts the door when he goes out.

Very nice Douglas! Can't you teach that dog to round up snakes?

snake_bit Jan 13, 2009 11:28 AM

He already found two escaped snakes for me but he attacked my box turtle when he found out she was eating his canned dog food.

He also knocked over a tank with two of Pauls baby bull snakes and they were never seen again.

Man, Doug, that's a NICE animal in the first two photos. I love the combination of heavy black cross-overs and blinding white bands. Great lookin' critter. Mom's not too shabby, either, with that earthen hue. Good stuff.

Thanks bro. I never understood why people try to breed out the black in tricolors snakes.

I dig the cross-overs. However, I also dig snakes with unconstricted red saddles/bands!

Nice looking gentilis Doug. Very white over all look to it, the white nose is great, and I like how the head cap stays behind the eyes.

She is an 04 hatchling and will breed for the first time this spring.

Little older photo of her.

I've enjoyed bringing her to adulthood and look forward to seeing some neonates from her. (cross fingers now)

Here is a little teaser for you Doug from our emails. Take care of that arm.

She must eat like a pig to get to breed size in 5 years.Love the orange on her and that background color is very clean.
