humid hides

petethepelican Sep 09, 2003 07:24 PM

I do't have room for any more hides in my viv, so i was thinking, when he is just about to shed, can i put him in a another place, like a shoe box with just a hide and water, and then he can shed there, and then put him back into his reg. viv when hes done? or could i just mist the bottom of the floor inside of one of his hides? he is currently on kitchen roll.

Hi

You can keep the basking area misted with water to make it moist and that will help. Keep it moist until he finishes his shed.
