Ok, i was wondering how you guys heat racks or other such breeding type enclosures. I currently have two hatchlings in a rubbermaid container with a UTH under it and it is greatthey love it and so forth. However i am unsure of their sex and would like to house them seperatly. I also have two juvis that i house in a ten gallon each. I do not have the space for any more ten gallons, i only have the cabinet underneath my uromastyx tank, where the babies are now. I am hoping to breed them also, so i would need more space to put all the little guys. So anyways to the point, i was looking at those shelves the plastic ones that people can file in and so forth, at the grocery store and figured that would be a nice simple and efficent 'rack'. But my question is about heating them...if it had 3 or 4 different shelves should i get a uth for each shelf? wouldnt that get too hot for the lower one? any help appreciated or any suggestions, i only have about 2 1/2 feet high maybe a lttle more by about 2 feet wide and about 1 1/2 deep. Thanks! and also thanks for all the help you have given me with these guys they are all gaining weight and doing great! i finally got a digital scale and the female i bought gained over 10 grams for about the 3 weeks i have had her.
thanks again! sorry for the long post!
