My adult female Western Hognose Snake has fairly put on some bulk lately and the only things she's interested in doing are eating and basking alot. The male seems to also have lost all interest in her (although I didn't see any actual mating before (just interest)). Judging from these pictures, should I stop introducing the male and assume she is going to give me some eggs?
I wonder if she is just ovulating or has a build up of poo as snakes often do before a shed. Never seen a gravid Western before, so experienced eyes welcome!
