These have been coloring up nicely, some are extreme red like the mom, some are average and some are just blaah.

A few more...

These siblings are from the Florida erythristic bred to the New York paradox albino, the one has some decent red in it.

This female is from a Schuett albino/flame eastern bred to Mohr anerythristic eastern. Will prove her out next year as either a het anerythristic or as a double het snow.

This is an '08 holdback similis, she's coloring up pretty nicely.
Top pic was taken today, bottom 2 about 2 months ago.

Scott I think this is one of the most exciting projects you have going, those are really looking good. My male (2nd pic)is coloring up nicely with nice reds but the female (1st pic) isn't growing as well nor is she as colorful, I'm hoping that as we turn the corner in a month or so toward spring she will perk up and start feeding heavy again and then color up some more, either way they will hopefully make some very nice looking babies someday.

Jeff,

The male looks real nice, don't give up on the female. I had some that looked drab at first and colored up significantly.

Scott,
How big are these snakes now?The eryths I got off of you are doing good. One is starting to get some color to it.They are still small though.I would say less than 10".

scott_felzer Jan 15, 2009 02:19 PM

Hey Tom,

The biggest are around 18-19" now, have a couple around 12-13" too.

Intersting guys, mine are also the smallest 08's that i have. For some reason they are slow growers, not the most aggressive feeders, that could all change once spring rolls around though, maybe they will play catch up this summer, I still have high hopes for these guys next year, with potiential like that it's worth the wait.
