Lost and found

A week ago I found one of my tubs pulled out of the rack. Of course no snake was home. Everything in the tub was a mess. This tub pulls in and out easily from my rack, and I figured out that or cats were able to pull it out, as they have always had a great interest in the snakes.

Thus, I spent lots of time looking for the snake - a year and a half old BRB. I was not able to find it. Last night my wife was watching TV and was wondering why one of the cats was 7 feet up in out entertainment center and very interested in something. She then noticed the snake's head peaking down. She was able to get the snake (and it was not too happy) without getting bit, and return it too it's tub - as I am working out of town.

Last weekend I drilled 3/16 inch holes in my racks and use size 10 bolts to lock in the tubs. I also just received new racks, so this weekend everything will be moved into my snake room - where the cats will not go. I was making sure the room had enough heat before I moved them especially since temps will be well below zero this week.

Hey Mike, glad to hear it was found safe and sound. Amazing how they can get into the most unusual places.

At a year and a half, was it one of my '07 babies?

Not one of yours - one I will probably sell. If it was one of yours or Jeff's I would have looked a lot more!
