I have a yearling that got out of the cage yester day and we did not find him till about 2am (12 hours out). When we found him he was ,of course, in the only room in the house that was not heated. Temp got down in the 20's and he was very very very very cold and in obvious pain. We started to slowly get his temp back up to normal and the warmer he got the more normal an in less pain he seemed. What I was wondering was if this would have any long term damage or effects on him. As I said before he is acting normal now and (so far) shows no sign of RD. Its just that he was so small and so very cold.
