boacraze Jan 15, 2009 05:53 PM

ive just recently purchased a spider female het hypo and she does show the signs of the phenomenon should this animal ever be bred or is this just something we will always see in spider/spider combos?

Boy is that a loaded question.

Some people say it will always be there, and is unique to the spider trait
Some say that it is a defect and shouldnt be bred.

It's just a Spider being a Spider. I wouldn't worry about it.

Ball pythons can be kinda hard to breed and can be picky feeders but from what I've heard spiders, and spider combos, are great eaters and breeders. All my snakes eat well but my spider is the first to breed out of my smaller males.

Who cares if they act a little crazy. I say they are great to own and breed.
