How old is your dragon?
How much does it weigh?
How long is your dragon?
How healthy is your dragon? (Does it eat well? is it active?)
If your dragon is under 15" has it bred? What was the result?
Are you a breeder?

Greetings Bennett

My male dragon is 3 .5 months old.

He is too frisky to weigh, but he is obviously fat at the base of his tail and feels solid when lifted.

He is 12 inches long from snout to tail tip.

He is an extremely active eating machine except when just before a major shed.

He is a pet and will not be bred.

I am not a breeder.

Got to say that I personally breed the big ones and just love the small ones. I've been lucky so far that the dragons I bought as pets do have some traits and characteristics that are wanted by other breeders. I believe in size, vigor, over all health, and then any color a plus. My next year pair are two huge healthy dragons. Foster was purchased from Chris Allen has always been healthy grew to outrageous lengths and weights (had great care). He's currently 23 inches and 760 grams not even 2 years old yet. He's always been healthy was acquired from a great, and (Safe) breeder, and has great potential as a breeder himself. His mate is also over 20 inches and just under 600 grams. He might be bred to my German giant as well even though she is just 19 inches her weight is above 600 as well. we'll see. These are not fat over weight dragons, but in fact healthy active overall large dragons. I do plan to breed a few smaller more colorful dragons, but none of my breeders are under 500 grams or 19 inches, and with all of them I've been able to get some backround into their linages. Too today's averages they all are above average size, and health. I think if you want to breed for small size breed Rankins dragons why make the vitteceps smaller as a group. I know breeders that want to keep all their breeders under 16 inches. This does not make sense to me. You want to impress me grow a rankins to 16 and sell them as huge rankins then I'll be impressed, but why add to the diminishing sizes of these bearded dragons that were once 20-24 inches average. If you hit mystical dragons below you can see a few of these dragons although the weights and sizes listed in the comments are not up to date.
