im worried that my veiled has MBD. when hes chillin at his spot, he doesnt grasp the vine all the way. he grasps when hes climbin.

This doesn't sound like anything. Chams relax and rest feet just like any other creature. I would worry if he's falling off branches, not able to grasp or climb around, his casque is bent, he's shaking, etc. I've had chams who laid on perches with all 4 feet dangling when they were very relaxed.
