New addition to the collection

Jonathan Brady Jan 17, 2009 08:50 PM

This is probably one of the worst series of pics I've taken in the last several months. No matter what lighting I tried and what combination of flash/no flash/external flash, I couldn't get this girls true colors. She ALWAYS looks darker in the pics than she is in real life. I also can't seem to capture the pinks she has.
It actually looks like her colors are a blending of a medium tan and pink. I bought her for her pattern though! I LOVE the big thick saddles with holes in them and the reverse tail stripe. It kicks butt!

She'll be a permanent resident of my collection as she comes with the same history as Rose and Mr. Incredible - born in captivity to a WC gravid female out of Guyana. To me, that's the holy grail

Once she settles in and we get some nice days here, I'll take her outside in natural light and see if I can get better pics of her.

Hope you like her!

On down the road, this could be a potential mate for her after I pair her with Mr. Incredible (a Guyana male born in captivity from a WC female) and my WC male from Guyana.

He's my holdback male from Rose's '07 litter. He is the product of two parents who were born in captivity from WC gravid females out of Guyana making him F1 of founder stock blood

tell she has some deep pink coloration. It seems that is the hardest color to capture on a boa, doesn't it? I can't wait to see her outside in natural sunlight but with the weather lately it might be a while. Good luck with those.

She reminds me a lot of the litter your 07' sire came from. I agree, your 07' offspring would be a good match for her in the future. Nice Guyana!

You have set your self up to produce very strong healthy blood for the upcoming years. You have certainly done things right!

Be well JB

Take care,

She's EXTREMELY clean! Her ventrals have a less heavy pattern of speckling as well. She's a beauty

I think I may have seen a dirty speck Ha!!

Interesting pattern, I bet she will be a stunner when she settles in.

Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. That one has the "wild-type" look with a low saddle count. How big is she?

I haven't stretched her out, but she looks to be in the 5.5' range. She's a tad over 8 lbs, and MUSCULAR

If I hadn't seen her reverse tail stripe and only the saddles, I would have had to check the baby photos from that '07 litter because the first pic I saw of her was a baby pic! lol
Thanks man,
jb
