feeding mousetails

When feeding a mouse tail does it have to be an adult mouse? Any advice would be appreciated

Like any other meal it needs to be size appropriate. Personally I find crawler tails too flimsy, so I always cut sections of adult tails.

Just curious, why would you feed a mouse tail?
