Reverse Okeetees didn't originate from Okeetees - they're selectively bred amels. By breeding anything to an Okeetee you'd be diluting any Okeetee characteristics and I can't imagine anyone wanting to remove their most colorful characteristic - orange and red - by crossing them with an anery. The result would simply be normal-looking corns that are het for anery.

Now there may be some merit to an anery with thick black borders, but this could be achieved the same way as reverse Okeetees - by selectively breeding anery corns for thick borders.

If anyone is looking this season, I have an 8-9yr old Okatee corn (male).
