All Anerys are not created equal

ajfreptiles Jan 19, 2009 10:00 PM

This is a female Anery that is from a MoonGlow litter...while she is a very nice Anery, she is still of the yellow variety.

...

...

I am using her for a comparison shot so you can see what I call black and white Anerys.

...

These are from My Gun Metal Blue Anery male that I bred to a DH Snow female...These 2 brothers are black and white.

...

I would think that if the white one was going to change he would have done so by now...but who knows...I am just looking forward to breeding these to some of the Poss DH Snow sisters and seeing where this project really goes!

after He made the gun metal one or the white one because if I ever get around to getting into Aneries Those ARE the ones I want to start with. I always enjoy your pics and post Andy! I look forward to the future pairings results. Thanks for sharing those!

And reinforces a point I keep going back to.....

It's NOT just the single (or multiple) morph genes you're working with that determine the actual outcome. When you take away one color, it allows the other colors to surface. In your case clearly the yellow is at least significantly reduced as well in your gun metal aneries!! Again, way cool!!!!
