mouth rot?

I'm sorry I dont have pictures of this.

I keep my snakes in tanks usually but all my ball pythons are in a rack system. I put a corn in there temporarily until a tank could be set up, and this was about 2 weeks ago. I finally got the tank set up and went to move her tonight.

Her gums seems swolen. No discoloration, loss of teeth or pussing, but its like her bottom jaw is flat at the edges instead of curving up to meet her upper lip. Mouth rot maybe? or just a small infection? I called and left a message with the vet, but he usually can't get people in for a few days... please help.

You were right to call the vet right away, mouth rot can lead to serious complications. And this is what it sounds like to me. Get her to the vet asap. They should be able to treat it.
