Annectans breeding size

Tony D Jan 21, 2009 12:28 PM

I've got a trio of these that are a bit slow growing. At 27 months they are only about 30". My gut says wait another year to get some more size on them but was wondering what you guys thought.

I'd try em, I bred two small ones last year and got 6-7 egg clutches of perfect babies. If the male is in rapist mode and the females don't want any....then I'd probably take the male out and try a week later. Can't hurt to try and see what the snakes do...

Let's see a pic Tony....if the the female is too small you may have egg binding issues.

That is my concern. Given the market I might want to hold a year anyway
