I know these aren't morphs but, they were nice anyway! Jeff

nothing is better than millions of years of evolution! Beautifull! What local are they?

cochran Jan 23, 2009 04:03 PM

The one on the ground was from Brunswik Cty. Va. and the other was from Lunenburg Cty.(Mother in laws's yard!) Jeff

........ I got this pair from a good friend as Brindles.

I know Brindles vary quite a bit in color but these are SO much lighter than any I've ever seen.

As expected, the females is developing more black pigment but the male seems to be getting more pink. These could almost pass for T Positives if they didnt have the black patching.

I love this pair - and wish I picked up a few more when I had the chance!

gotta love the Black Rats.

Maybe more morphs than anyone else on here can show? A bunch of these are old (some 3-4 years old), others are recent.

Here's my female lemon-

male albino lemon-

albino rusty

Orange albino (possible intergrade)

female brindle (as males are sexually dimorphic)

"Hypo" / pos. T albino, and a male brindle

Normal

Well, they will be, anyway . . .

Brindle, albino, rusty, and normal

Rusty and "high black" normal

And there are still . . . 4? morphs I have that aren't represented in these pics. I'll try to get more up later/tomorrow.

Wanna see morphs of other obsoletas, too? I have a couple of those. . . :-p I'm a big fan, in case you haven't noticed.

Thanks for looking,
Ronnie Nocera

That female lemon is out of control! I'm thinking about getting a lemon and a calico off Will Bird this year. That T=positive albino is also outstanding! I'm a little jealous. JK, I'm alot!LOL!

as well! I have a Love line Hypo Glades, a Deckert's rat, and a variety of hybrids including a bubblegum rat. Other than that I keep vulpina and gloydi, alot of milks(pueblans, honduans, sinaloans, scarlets, reds, and easterns, a speckled king, and a few mountain kings. Here's some ratsnake hybrids. Eve 'n' thou' I no sums of ya'gize hates em'!LOL!

I love my guys from Will. I actually got 5 snakes from him last year. I was hoping the female would grow quickly for me this winter, but it doesn't look like she'll be breeding size this coming season. Ah well. She really is gorgeous. She's one of my favorites, for sure! But, the one I'm REALLY pumped about is the albino lemon. I can't WAIT to see how he turns out. He's already so much brighter than he was when I got him a few months ago, and he's just awesome. He's growing like a weed, too! I was absolutely amazed at the size of the snakes I got from Will, with hatchlings the size of some yearlings I have, and yearlings the size of 2 year old snakes I have. But when I saw how they eat, I completely understand why. It MUST be something genetic here. My little albino lemon especially is just a bottomless pit. He's real scrawny, but is GROWING insanely fast. I can't feed him enough to put any weight on him, but he seems like he grows an inch every time I feed him. When I moved him up to pinky rats, I regretted it. It seemed way too big for him. Three meals later, I could barely even see a lump where the pinky rat was!

I'm definitely planning on picking up more snakes from Will this year. He's definitely a great guy, and produces some AWESOME animals. I'm hoping to pick up a few things from him this summer. Definitely looking at calicos, and some carpets for sure. I almost bought a jaguar carpet from him this year, and went with the black rats instead- boy am I thrilled I got my lemons! This year will be the year for me for the jags & jungles.

I'll get pics of my other obsoletas up tonight. I'm at work right now, and photobucket isn't working for me.

something isn't working with Will's website!

Your normal looks like it is from west of the Alleghenies. Nice photos. Still, I like my Black Rats very black. I would argue that Virginia has the nicest examples of these animals, but that is IMHP.
