my cham has shed twice since i've gotten her about 5 months ago. is this normal the older they get? i think she is gonna shed soone cuz her skin is dark like a plum, usually gets that color b4 she sheds,

my guy is 5 1/2 months lold and just finished his 3rd shed. this one took 3 days to complete, which is 2 days longer then the last two times. i just chalked it up to it taking longer because he is older. not sure if that is the real reason but i sure like his "new" colors after the shed!!

Shedding schedules aren't exact. If the cham is just going through a time of slower growth (growth rate is not constant) it's shed cycles will vary. There is also individual variation, hormonal state, time of year, etc.
