Mangrove monitors are great. Ive cared for a couple of them and they're a great pet. They usually get aroung 3-4 feet and need a cage about 4-5ft long, 4 foot high and about 2 feet in depth. You want to have alot of limbs. The limbs should be about 4 inches in diameter. They have a little jumpy temperment at first but they can calm down to make a good pet.

Hi,
I have seen mangroves that would never even fit in a cage like that. They can be quite large. 8x4x4 look minimum to me.

Agreed always go big when possible my old mangrove cage was 8 foot long 4 foot wide 6 foot high for a pair
