Sunglow Motley

AbsoluteApril Jan 23, 2009 12:10 PM

Just a quick pic of Ruby, my female sunglow motley. She's an '05 and IMO was too heavily fed. I got her off Craigslist, originaly from South Mountain. Pic taken through glass.

Not exactly a classic motley pattern with the connected dots, but I think she's rather pretty. Thanks for looking!

That's a sweet looking snake.
I agree it looks a little fat,
but over time it can lose the excess weight.
Sunglow motleys are one of my favorite morphs.
Here's a pic of my female:

Thanks and yeah, she is on a diet now, way too big and pudgy for her age.

That is a beautiful sunglow motley you posted, lovely pattern on the front half.

Very nice. I love the Q tip design. But is that pine you have her on? I know others that use it, and if thouroughly dry it may not be a problem???? And a tank I can see it not being as bad, but still it could need to issues.

And you glass is spotless, i did not even think it was in a tank when I first looked at it.

Thank you! and about the substrate, I honestly have no idea what it is, just what she had when I got her. I wanted to let her settle in with her current environment before messing with her too much. She's due for a full cleaning tonight and I'll be dumping it all and switching to aspen which I use for my other corns.

Here is a pic of my amel mot before her diet. I let her get way out of shape and way too big. I have had her on a diet for about a year now and she looks great. I cut her feeding to every 2 weeks and went with a smaller prey item. She seems to be much healthier now. She does have a lot of length to her as well. She is easily 5ft.
