Parasite Treatment for WC adult E. Hog

scaledverts Jan 23, 2009 12:31 PM

Hello -

I have a wild caught eastern hognose female that I have had in quarantine since I got her in mid May 08. I am curious as to what people generally do to treat for internal parasites in hognose. I have access to panacur, flagyl, and baytril along with proper dosages; but I don’t want to treat unnecessarily. She is doing well, and has switched over to fresh killed large rat pinkies. She is shedding great and is generally active when out of her tank. I have a number of snakes and I really don’t want to introduce parasites to a clean colony of snakes. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
