Wow, what a great looking snake, that is the richest yellow orange I have ever seen, reminds me of a high contrast, clean lemon pastel ball python. It's like the lemon version of the flame. I would think that would be a good one to selectively breed for more and more yellow orange? Good luck with that snake, hope you make lots of similar great looking offspring.

That's very interesting. It's more like a yellow-orange than orange, but the darkness of the black makes for a high contrast look.

Do you know what locality it's from?
Below is an orange one found near Cleveland last summer.
We used to find orange tinted ones when I was growing up, but never any examples with this much color.

that orange eastern is from Canada. I still have the silver one too! hopefully she will breed....I have all 4 (orange, silver, and 2 yellow males, all possibly from the same litter) together. found lots of blood and had seen a male crawling all over the orange....hopefully they hooked up with the silver too!!!!
