I had a female (that unfortunately died last year) that was over 5 1/2 feet long and about 4000 grams; i don't know how old she was, but i am sure she was pretty old! I was told by a few people that she was the largest ball python they had ever seen. I also have a large mar (over 2000) that many people think its a female when they first see him because he is so big.

I am curious, what's the record size for BPs? Anybody has real big BPs? mine are now "regular size" (other than that particular male)...

one of these days, when i get a decent camera and i figure out how to take good pics i am going to post pics of my snakes.

Here is a few photos of my biggest female, I call her Big Mama. She is 5 1/12 long and weighs 5500 at the time this photo was taken. The pied she is with weighs about 1200 grams. The second photo is with Big Mama and a 1000 gram mojave. Last photo was taken at one of the snake birthday parties that I do.

Man. that is one big girl there, Brian. I love that last pic with her wrapped around the little girl's waist- she's just beaming!

If I remember correctly the record is 6ft.7in.at 6300gr. But can’t find were I saw it but will keep looking . David

I believe I had heard the same at one point. That would be a very impressive ball python!

A few years back, I confirmed 5'11" male and roughly 6' female at roughly 5400 and 6700g in a private collection. The female produced 18 egg clutches and yes, this was Python regius.
