I feed a mix of FT and live depending on whats available.. The last few times they have eaten has been frozen thawed so I dont think it is a bite from a rat..

A picture might help. Sounds like you're going to need a trip to the vet, though.

Could be a few things - maybe she got scratched during a feeding and it's just now gotten to the point where it's inflamed enough to be obvious -- maybe she's got some substrate lodged in it -- could be a problem with a tooth? See if you can clean it out and get a better look at it - pictures might help too -- vet may be necessary depending on your experience level.

Good luck.

Open her mouth and make shore she don’t have a shed tooth stuck in her gum or lip . If so pull it outif you can and take her to the Vet for a round of Antibiotics . David

I took a good look at it lastnight looks like her bottom lip on the right side is broke.. She can be someone aggressive I'm guessing she busted it striking at the bin...Besides the lip the inside of her mouth looked fine.. I don't know of any reptile vets where I'm located its almost impossible to find reptiles in petstores here.. Is there a home remidy to bring down the swelling? This happened to a purple albino tiger retic I use to have and it healed its self for the most part... She is drinking and stuff I'll just lay off giving her food for a few weeks so hopefully it will heal on it own....

In that case I would call around to the Vets you do have till I could find one that would see it ,if for no other reason then to get some meds. For it . They can look up the dosage and how best given ..David
