New racks and lots of pics

jtclark Jan 25, 2009 04:10 PM

I just moved a majority of my snakes into my new racks today. I got these from Jason's Jungle. Great guy to deal with if you are looking for a new setup. I am still not 100% sure my bigger snakes will stay in these, but we will see how they do. I also have a few snakes going into shed, so I will see if the humidity is good for them. Jason said he doesn't add holes to the tubs for balls, but I added some for the corns. Guess we will see how they do. I decided to take picks of all of my snakes since it has been awhile.

Here are the racks before and after the crew moved in.

Butter corn

Anery Stripe(going into shed so kind of dull)

Snow

Amber(also going into shed)

Amel Motley(She may be too big for the rack-thoughts?)

Now a couple non-corns

Western Hognose

White Oaks Grey Rat (in shed)

IJ Carpet (Only one not in the rack)

Thanks for looking

Thanks for the compliments! I actually live very close to Jason(Indiana) so just met him at the show in Indy. They are really light. I can move them easily by myself.

I do like my IJ. I struggled with her for awhile because she is nippy. I still wear gloves when I handle her, even though it is not as bad as it seems when she hits me. She is over 6 feet now and hit my forearm a few months back and it didn't really hurt. The gloves just give me the confidence-lol. I guess she is my most challenging. I just make sure she stays away from my face...

Her's a couple more pics showing her size and color a bit better.

You'll have to update on how those racks work for you. My gf and I have been having trouble with our animal plastics racks, and have been looking for a good alternative.
