Update on two gravid girls...

ilovemylizard Jan 26, 2009 12:19 AM

First girl, is a normal that was bred by my oddball hypo male...she ovulated December 3rd, and had her POS shed December 19th. Counting from the ovulation, she's due April 6th, and the POS shed puts her at April 2nd.

Here's the male...a very unusual hypo...I've got my fingers crossed his kids will get those good looks

Second female, is Stella, the mother of last year's Roswell litter. She had two very distinct ovulations, the first on December 9th, and the second came December 15th. Her POS shed was January 3rd. So this leaves me with a few due dates to ponder, LOL...

I've come up with April 12th (counting from the first ovulation), April 18th (counting from the second ovulation), and April 17th according to her POS shed.

(The little white spots on her are from our lovely hard water.)

She was bred by this unrelated 2004 male, a 25% Suriname het albino...he comes from a fantastic coral line...I'm hoping for some screaming laddertails and albinos from this pairing

Beautiful girls Heather, both should produce some exciting beautiful babies.
The Male Hypo you've shown before definitely is uniquely pretty.
Fingers crossed for some outstanding Heterozygous Roswell
Laddertail babies.
Talking about hard water, I have an ongoing mostly loosing
battle with hard water.
The calcium/lime build up in the water dishes is hard to keep
up with,big pain !

Thanks, Lar! I am really excited to see if I can get more hypos like him...I wish I had more history on him...would have been really nice to see his parents...

The hard water here is becoming quite an issue, LOL...all my bowls, ceramic or plastic, after just 3 or 4 days grow mineral rings hard enough for me to need a razorblade scraper to get them off...grrrr...

nice and blocky. Great condition for motherhood. I love the hypo as well. Really nice. Of course, the other is no slouch either! Many sleepless nights for you.
