Updated Pic of my Striper!

Akua_Ko_Nalu Jan 27, 2009 02:42 PM

Here's one animal I held back from 2008, hatched out in August.

The parents were a Real Nice CB Red Blood and a WC Striped Red Blood.

I'm hoping this is a dominant/co-dominant occurance, out of 14 eggs, I had 7 with the same Striping, if not more than the sire.

I'm keeping back 3 to prove this out, but I'm pretty convinced it's Dominant at least so here's introducing the "BloodBall Stripe" P. Brongersmai.

What do you guys think?

That blood looks killer. My 2 cents you should change the name.

What do you suggest?!

Why not call it a "Stripe" like all the other Striped Blood Pythons? What I've found is that the Stripes these guys have are a strong polygenic trait. Meaning it's reproducable, but not with any consistancy. Some animals tend to pass it on better than others.

If the snake was a hybreed then that name would fit.

True, but they've been duped with the name "SuperBall"

With your name people may think it is a hybreed.
