Truth is I hadn't looked at all of them that closely and didn't realize what a stand out I had in that rack. Then I had already said yes... but it was too late. I'll have to enjoy him from afar. Thanks for posting the fresh pics Ryan! Great pics too as always!

You take very ggod pictures, what kind of set up do you have. I have a nikon D80 and a 60mm macro lense and I still can not take pictures that good. I need lessons but any way you take very good pictures.

Is a Nikon D50 with a 60mm 2.8 Macro lens and SB-800 speedlight external flash.

I use bounce flash (flash pointed to the ceiling bounced back down) and a small aperature (usually F12 to F16 range).

The bounce flash softens the lighting allowing colors to show up more accurately. The small aperature (high F number) opens up the depth of feild so there is more of the shot in focus.
