Cryptosporidium in geckos

Has anyone had or seen positive testing geckos recently?

I was with a friend a few weeks ago when she came into town to pick up a sick gecko from someone else. I looked at that lizard for perhaps a full second and then condemned the poor guy to Crypto instantly. It was pretty obvious it had some sort of bacterial parasites in the stomach lining.

It was indeed later confirmed via stool sample, and eventually it died in her care.
