anery x hybino?

ninj726 Jan 29, 2009 10:54 AM

I am thinking about getting a male hybino honduran to cross with my female anery. What kind of babies would I get from this pairing? I'm not sure exactly how the whole co dom thing works in a punnet square. Thanks!

Ther are no codom genes in that pair. You will end up with all triple hets.

If the hybino is NOT HET ANERY and your anery is just an anery without any het for hypo or het albino, then you will get 100% normal looking hondurans that are 100% triple het for hypo, albino, and anery.

Now, if by any chance your hybino is het anery, then if mated with an anery, your clutch will have a chance of throwing in some anerys. Same goes with your anery...that is if your anery is by any chance het albino (then chances that some albinos will hatch) or if your anery is het hypo (chances that some hypos will hatch).

Hope that helps.
