This girl has been paired with the black pastel 100% het pied a couple times so far this season... Hoping for the best!

Best of luck to everyone this season!

Some older pics of him but some good shots of the Sire in the FL sun. Really hoping things workout and I hit the odds on atleast one black pastel pied.

I think that would be your chances. 25%? Am I correct everybody?

djslurp1200 Jan 29, 2009 02:21 PM

Sounds right to me...

Het x Visual should give you half a clutch of visuals and half a clutch of 100% Hets... But since the black pastel is obviously co-dominant the same should apply as well... half black pastels/half normals... So theoretically I should have a 25% chance in hatching out a Black pastel pied.

I'd be happy just hatching out some black pastel het pied females to raise up if I don't hit on the Blast pastel pied combo. But we'll see how it goes.

I've got my fingers crossed!

WOW... (picks up jaw from the floor)... Can I have some of the babies? (I kid)

djslurp1200 Jan 29, 2009 07:18 PM

Well I'll definitely be keeping all the females if any... and of course a black pastel pied male if I get lucky enough to hatch atleast one...

but since I already have a black pastel het pied male, if I get any more of those I'll definitely be open for trades!
