CDP75 Jan 29, 2009 02:59 PM

Before we got my baby, I was looking at some on the classifieds here. I get the color morphs b/c I have corns but trying to figure out other stuff about beardies. Silkies I get why they are called that but what's different about leatherbacks??

if ur asking the difference between a silkback nd a leather back it is because the silkbacks feel like a pinky mouse and have NO scales whereas the leatherbacks have more granule scales like a uromastyx body...in order to get the silkbacks you have to breed 2 leatherbacks (italian leathers i think) together

Opps worded my post wrong..haha. I knew silky had no scales but what's different between a regular beardie and a leatherback?

Leatherbacks have more granular scales, normal bearded dragons have normal scales.
