Glow during preeding process

python2000 Jan 30, 2009 02:36 PM

I'm breeding 5 females (all more than 2000 grams) together with a spider male this year. They started breeding on october 30. 2 of them did a very long shed (about 14-16 days) and after that they had really remarked color change, they glowed and now they seem other snakes :-P, they are like ghosts when they usually are dark brown. I'm sure they've not ovulated yet due the male is very very interested in them and if placed together they'll breed almost immediatly... another is going in the same shed right now. I'm just wondering witch stage of breeding i'm exactly in. Is that long shed the pre ovulation one?
Thank you

It's called the "Glow Before They Go" -- as it's the pre-ovulation period -- you're almost there!

Congratulations!
