Traveling with Snake

Dpoling Jan 31, 2009 10:13 AM

Hey guys I am selling one of my BRBs today and it is about 35 degrees outside. I plan to get the car nice and toasty before I leave, but is there anything else anyone would recommend or suggest. Will the very brief exposure to those low temps (walking to the car) be harmful?

She is still a juvenile, less than 6 months old, maybe 30 inches or so.

I will take the temp of the car before I put her in there.

Thanks!!

Should be fine, just put her in a cloth bag or deli cup and put that in a larger tub or box with some insulating material, towels, crumpled paper etc. 35 is too low for them to survive but it's not like a light switch, 35, click, dead. The important thing is to keep the heat from escaping the temporary enclosure.

Thanks Dave. She did fine and it was sunny so the car stayed warm.
