how do you sex a beardie

i want to get a breeding pair...i have a young beardie now...how do i sex it and soon them...and when is the best time to put them together for permanent living in the same quarters?

If you're going to breed, it is best to keep the male and female in seperate tanks except for putting them together to copulate. Also make sure you do a LOT of research before getting into it, because from one time of mating you could have 3 clutches of eggs, and that is a lot of mouths to feed. Basically what I'm trying to say is breading beardies is quite expensive and NOT a good way to "get rich quick".
