Let me know when you come down and we'll see if we can hook up.

I'm a closet rat snake fan myself, and have had many kinds in years past (subocs, mandarina, obsoleta, etc...). Show that girl fo sho!!! I'll be lurking . . .

...but here's a couple shots from when I first found her. I do love Ratsnakes also, but I really want to mostly concentrate on my tri-colors for now. I can always drive a few hours south and find some more greenies, if I feel the need to keep them again.

And to bring this back on topic (sort of) - here's a pair of beauties I scored a little while back:

When I finally make my way out to Chatsworth, you can lead me in that direction my good man. Weird that you live in the same area I went to school (Chaminade...) -- can't wait to get back here soon for a visit. And then onto grab a Tommy's Burger and then the Topanga Mall and then the reservoir (the site of my first Cal king and catenifer catch), etc etc. Ahhh the memories.

I'm a little east of Chatsworth, more in the general area of Glendale. That's Glendale, AZ. I did live in Whittier, CA for a little while, though...does that count? :D:D

Adobo is so basic, just perfect for us Americanos. How 'bout something like dinuguan . . . ask the Mrs and she'll tell you. It LOOKS like chocolate pudding but there's no chocolatey goodness about it at all....blecchhhhhh!!!!

My "esawa" is whiter than me, LOL. Balut eh? Frickin' nasty.....tried it once when I was in the Phils back in 2001....almost puked. One of the few things I havent been able to keep down. I shouldve done a mail order arrangement -- probably more bang and hot meals for the buck. Hah!!!!

(That was mean, I know......BUT after almost 19 years......)
