My 6 month ball is having issues with this. this first time she shed i thought it was just stress and being in a new cage and all. it wasnt that, 2nd time around she is having issues once again. it comes off in parts or flakes, never comes off as a all in one.

What could be causing this problem?

Simple... Lack of humidity. Give ths little guy a place to soak ( water dish ) and try to get the RH level up to about 80%. You should get a hydrometer to see where your RH is at and then adjust accordingly. As far as how to get moister in the air I use aspen bedding and when the humidity gets too low I put a small amount of water in the bedding near the heat source. It works for me. GL and Happy Herping
